Son's of Perdition Series

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is the Spirit of righteousness. So that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, gives life to our mortal bodies when we choose righteousness. We receive life when we choose to do what is right like the Lord Jesus showed us and taught us. When we love our neighbours. When we forgive. When we tell the truth. When we turn the other cheek.

It was these actions that made the Lord Jesus the perfect offering for sin. The law fulfilled that came to life in the flesh to demonstrate and teach us the righteousness of God. The Lord Jesus was the perfect lamb of God , given to mankind as an offering for sin condemning sin by His perfect body, life and choices in that He did not sin but loved and prayed for those who sinned against Him.

Then the Lord Jesus was brought back to life by the Spirit of God as a testament to all who witnessed as a proof to that good and perfect will of God. The path to life...The way, the truth and life() to the resurrection of our souls onto a new creation in eternal life with Him.

I go to prepare a place for you if it was not so I would have told you. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me

So that when we choose life, when we choose righteousness we have peace. The peace that surpasses all understanding. When we choose righteousness when we choose the way of the Spirit and not the flesh. When we choose love and consideration to God and to our neighbours rather than greed and selfishness; we fulfil the righteousness of the law that the Lord Jesus showed to us through His life. We enter the Kingdom of God here on earth through our decisions testified by the peace that overwhelms us as the approval of God by His Spirit.

The conscience that confirms we chose what was right. The seal of Gods righteousness. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The carnal mind is selfishness, greed and pride. The law of God is to love God and your neighbour as yourself. Love, consideration, wisdom and patience brings life and peace to our mortal bodies by the Spirit who testifies in us. So that selfishness and pride which is found in the flesh and our carnal inclinations are an enmity against God as it happened in the Garden. For our carnal inclinations in the flesh are not subject to the law of God, to love God and to love our neighbour as ourselves. Those who are in the flesh, in the carnal mind; focused and prioritising the things of the world and despise the law of love and consideration to God and our neighbours cannot please God. But practice lawlessness in not practising the first law of God.

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
