My name is Danicka Sikorski, founder of Eden Cupcake Floristry, WIFE, MUM and BAKER. I started Eden Cupcake Floristry inspired by the natural beauty of GOD'S CREATION paired with the love of cake! I saw an AMAZING OPPORTUNITY to share this rich celebration of gifting, party/event planning, special occasions with these amazing bespoke HAND PIPED detailed cupcake flowers. To not only AMAZE IN SIGHT and taste but also to BRING TO LIFE a story that started in a GARDEN at the beginning of time. The Garden of Eden.

Having grown up in a SINGLE parent home with my mum raising 7 children on her own, I came to understand the immense struggle and brokenness that can come with the lack of family STRUCTURE and the consequences of it especially having an effect on the children.

I grew up admiring movies and tv shows that displayed the PERFECT family unit; mum, dad and a handful of kids that always expressed the structure and security that I felt I was lacking in my own home.

I have also seen single home parent raising BRILLIANT kids who grow up strong despite the missing piece of a father (or mother). But on the other hand, homes of families with mum and dad also broken and DESTROYED.

So there is always a disparity in both cases. So what was the missing link for both with or without a family structure unit. LOVE and not just any Love but the kind that God lays out for us through His Word starting with the error and lessons we learn from Adam and Eve, to the reconciliation and forgiveness we find through JESUS CHRIST.

Therefore, bringing both the opportunity of creating a GARDENERS paradise of floral cupcake treats with a story that would inspire the art and celebration of FAMILIES and communities; something I am passionate to both LIVE, encourage and witness this beauty of the plan that God intended for us to FULFIL our purpose of that life and more abundantly through the family institution.

I myself had the opportunity of starting my own family the UNCONVENTIONAL way... It brought a lot of difficulties of adjustments and problems as we were very different but we decided on the shared understanding of giving our first son at the time (we have two now) a structure and STABILITY to raise him up in, as we brought him into this world.

Having faced many difficulties because of our DIFFERENCES of faith and culture, I turned to God and my church for support in order to keep that mission we started with to have a home and family unit our son could be secure in...

That did NOT happen, our son became even more insecure because of our CONFLICTS, clashes and disagreements. He actually suffered worse for being in a home with a house DIVIDED. He would have been better off more safe and secure being in a house of single parenting.

But now we had strived to KEEP this family and all the damage was done... so what do you do now?

Did you know that Jesus is the God of the RESSURECTION? Well it was with this understanding that I had hope and FAITH to persevere after the damage had already been done. To persevere and BELIEVE that God would make the dead bones of our family that we fought so hard with our own strength to build but FAILED. That He would make the IMPOSSIBLE of bringing two different people with the hope of accomplishing a mission we started, to raise our boys in a TRUE family home, we both did not have growing up. That in Jesus this impossibility will become POSSIBLE.

That He would and could do what we were not ABLE to do. And so Eden Cupcake Floristry was born out of this desire to bring back HOPE to families. That family is good. That even though it is better to get it RIGHT the first time to avoid suffering and pain, but if suffering and pain is what you find then don't give up there is still a way out through Jesus.

He is the one that has kept us through the teachings of the church, the GUIDANCE of His Word and the hope of His Spirit.

And in the end if your family turns out to be like Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden, SEPERATION... Jesus is the God that makes all things NEW and makes the latter even greater than the former. 

So even if you have to start all over again to get it RIGHT, don't give up on Gods perfect plan for you to be happy, a blessing best spent through the intimacy, communion and fellowship of the FAMILY.

It is in these special moments Eden Cupcake Floristry wants to be remembered when you celebrate and create those special moments with friend's, families and communities.
