The Promise Series
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have PROMISED you.” (1)
Nothing can stop what God has determined from coming to pass. God promised His Son that would be born from a woman to Reconcile what had been broken because of woman. God loves to make all things new, to mend, to fix, heal, to restore (2). Such is His loving and gracious nature and character. He executes Judgement fairly and righteously but is ready to restore and heal what was broken. This we see in the dynamic of the role and purpose women have played in the Word of God and the purpose and fulfilment of His promises and His plan of salvation. Where woman was used to destroy and give access to evil to take dominion over mankind through disobedience. God doubles back and used what the devil made for evil in using the woman to bring forth what would now defeat Satan; His Son, Jesus Christ. God always uses what the devil uses for evil to turn it into something good. The devil used a woman, Eve to open the world to evil. God used Mary of woman to open the door to Eternal life through her FAITH and obedience to bring forth the Son of God. These two women are a great dynamic pair to cross reference one day and learn a lot from but some other time.
Today's focus is on the faithfulness and absolute certainty of those things that God determines in His Word to come to pass. Contrasted by the relentless, shrewd and determination of evil to impede, block, delay or alienate mankind from the Lords unfailing Word. In this case the Promise of the Seed (3), the Promise of the plan of salvation, the Promise of the Son of God that He determined right at the beginning in the Garden after man had been dispossessed of his rights to life and total dominion of the earth as it was meant to be. Right there at the beginning as the Lord determined this Promise; the whole army of Hell set out on a mission to impede His promise of what He had determined from being fulfilled. That a Seed would reclaim the power and authority to restore and reconcile God to men (4). The Seed that would trample the head of the serpent and restore the Kingdom of God within man of that which is eternal; the soul. The gates of hell withstood the Promise throughout time and history from generation to generation; right up until the coming forth of the Son of God Himself.
So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.(5) The devil did everything to stop the fulfilment of the Promise. Everything unsuccessfully... The Promise of the Seed was materialised in the birth of the Son of God by Mary betrothed of Joseph. At that time, the devil even tried to use Herod to kill the infants. The devil even used the Pharisees to turn the people against Jesus so they would be justified in sentencing the Son of God to death on the Cross.
It did not prevail because it was already determined by God; because it was already apart of His plans and purposes; all the attempts of hell only contributed to revealing the Potency and Faithfulness of His Word; of what God Himself had determined.
Then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the LORD.’ ” (6)
One of the devils greatest deception in attempting to sabotage the Plan of Salvation was to create an identical plan that would deviate and create an alienated disregard to the Truth. Throughout time and history the devil mastered a strategic way to proliferate a false religion and ideological system that would identically mirror and counterfeit the Divine plan of Salvation of the Promised Seed announced right at the beginning in the Garden of Eden. From Babylon this mystery-religion spread to all the surrounding nations, as the years went on and the world was populated by the descendants of Noah. Everywhere the symbols were the same, and everywhere the cult of the mother and child became the popular system (7). This particular simulation started its program right after the flood with Noah and his descendants. A simulation that would take its root in every tongue in every nation of mankind branching out from none other than the Tower of Babel itself, that would later on spread its offshoot through the Babylonian empire that followed. So deep were its root implanted in mankind, we live and breathe the offsprings of its implantations until today.
This simulation that took its root there in Babylon is none other than that of Semiramis, the Mother goddess, the Queen of Heaven (8). A simulation implanted by the devil that would now install a new promise purposed by the devil through the worship of Semiramis the god of fertility, to call upon the coming of the son of Satan, the son that would come forth from this new religious system implanted by the conception of the Queen of Heaven simulation. Now the war in heaven would now continue here on earth, a war of Truth. A war of the Word and its Promise. A war of the coming Seed of God and the seed of Satan. A war of religion and the Truth. A war to save the soul or to cast it into eternal darkness with Satan and his demons (9).
"These eternal truths were corrupted by her (rather, quite obviously, by the evil one controlling her) into a mythic cycle wherein the great dragon is depicted as the rightful lord of the universe whose throne has been temporarily usurped by One whom we can recognise as the God of the Bible. The serpent creates man in his present miserable state, but promises that a child would one day born of a divine mother---which child would supplant God, become a god himself, and return rulership of the Earth to the serpent. These fables were based upon the then widely-known story of the constellations, and were introduced under the guise of revealing the hidden esoteric knowledge concealed in them (regardless of the fact that the original was quite straightforward)."(7)
We understand that the introduction and inspiration of this replica of the Promised Seed came from Nimrod the husband of Semiramis; who was a mighty conqueror and the grandson of Noah. He had conquered most of the earth in those days empowered and inspired as one of the first to use the constellations in communicating the determination of the heavenly hosts, but not the host of the armies of God but of the angels who had fallen with Lucifer who we now know as Satan. The new command had been announced. A new promise devised by Satan himself to counteract and defiantly appose throughout time and history; dispersed throughout every tongue and nation a new command to alienate the inhabitants of the earth (10) from the original that was given right at the Beginning (3).
So the work commenced to build the worship of the strength of man that would usurp and overtake the strength of God, the Word of God; the Promise of God; Faith in God. The KNOWLEDGE of man, astrology, mysticism, the stars and all the wisdom and power that the spirits would bestow upon Nimrod as he started to build his empire starting with Ba-bel which meant the gate of God to Babel meaning confusion when the Lord ended it's rise and indeed it left a legacy of confusion through a religious system that would now oppose the true PURPOSE, plans and will of God through the Promised Son of God, Jesus Christ, FAITH in Him and the Plan of Salvation that can only be found through Him (11).
