Sons of Perdition Series

...The Letter Kills but the Spirit gives Life (1)

God already knew the iniquity of the Religious leaders to kill His Son (2). He already knew their inclination and premeditation so that their own iniquity would perfectly align and fulfil the plan of Salvation. As though their programming was exactly designed for this purpose to fulfil the prophecy of the coming Messiah. The coming Son of God. The Seed. The Promise. Their iniquity and inclinations was exactly designed for this purpose and without it the plan of Salvation would not be in effect.

The Promised Son. The Promised Seed.

“For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. (3)

The Letter kills but the Spirit gives life (1)The letter is religion and the works of the law (4). The Spirit is Faith, Love, Justice and Mercy (5) doing accordingly as the occasion demands (6). To love is to give. To whom we love is to God first (7) and then our neighbour as ourselves. To love is to help our neighbour when they are in need. Yet sometimes that help can even be to let them fall on their head to learn but I guess you have to be really efficient in the art of disciplinary so that the effect and end result will truly be love.

With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the LORD, your Redeemer. (8)

Everyone who loves tries to help their neighbour in anyway that they can even one that is lost without hope of a future, broken and left for dead like the example of the Good Samaritan (9). Even Jesus tried to help Judas until the end calling him friend (10) and giving him the opportunity to acknowledge his bad intentions by confronting him at the Last Supper (11), to be sincere so that he may break free from the curse of the deceiver. Even the Son of God knowing the heart of His disciple and his inclinations; that he would go down the path of Perdition. Not the betrayal itself, as we understand that Peter also betrayed but in the end believed and received forgiveness. The true betrayal was the giving up of Faith (12); that he did not believe in the only begotten Son of God. He did not believe that Jesus was willing (13) and able to forgive him and to save him. He did not believe in the work of God which is to believe in Him whom He sent (14) the Messiah. The Seed. The Promised Son of God.

Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find Faith on the earth?”(15)

Yet Jesus left us the example of the unconditional love we should have towards our neighbour no matter their circumstances of life, background, outcome etc. Yet we cannot be naive to bad intentions but sometimes we end up in the path of such for a Purpose and only His Spirit to give us Faith, wisdom and patience to know how we must go about the matter knowing that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (16). As it happened to Jacob when he had to endure his uncle laban deceiving him (17), the justification of his own deceit towards his father. Or Joseph enduring years of injustice as a slave then prisoner bearing it in silence until God revealed His purposes (18). Yes so sometimes our neighbours are truly lost cases but even in the lost cases there is a Purpose.

Yet He taught us the Agape love as they call it, to never give up on anyone by this demonstration with Judas whom He foreknew the end of the matter. Yet was purposeful in showing us the care He extended towards someone who was lost in His midst. Indeed He gave His life for all, knowing not all would believe in Him and be saved. For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours (19)Nonetheless I must state that no one should subject themselves to any form of abuse and intimidation. Though where there is Purpose and Faith given by God, beyond what meets the eyes as it happened to the prophet Hosea who even married a prostitute (20) to fulfil a prophetic symbolism of the people of Isreal. As it happened to Joseph many years in subjection and the Lord Jesus' mission subjected to the unjust crucifixion so that He may overcome the grave and be the Saviour of the soul of he who believes. Nonetheless to the neighbour that is helpless as the man left beaten and alone on the high way in the example of the Good Samaritan (9), the Canaanite woman whom the Lord even feigned to mock at first to test her faith yet in the unconditional goodness of His heart He even honoured her in the end. O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (21)To express His unwavering Mercy, Grace and Love to those who seek Him.

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame... The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (22)

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (22)If He who overcame death and the grave was able and is now at the righthand of God with the name that is above all other name (23). How much more will He not resurrect the Sons of Perdition and fallen souls from the death of hopelessness and despair. There are vessels for honour and there are vessels for dishonour (24) Yet the scripture says whomever believes in Him will not be put to shame (22)So how is it that a vessel that was prepared for dishonour will be put to shame when he believes in Him? No a vessel made for dishonour when he believes in Him will not be put to shame but will be saved upon the righteousness of Faith. Faith in Him, the only begotten of the Father (25)For the same Lord over all is rich to whoever calls upon Him (22) As it happened to the vessel for dishonour; Peter who believed on the Lord after He had betrayed Him and was saved. So the vessels of dishonour will become vessels for honour so that He may be known to be the God of the Resurrection. So that as He lives we may live also and where He is we may go also; to be with Him (26) for all Eternity.

Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved (22)

Yet the mistakes of the Pharisees came to pass like the mistake of Judas and all the Sons of Perdition that have passed so that we today may learn, see and be made free not to repeat their errors. That is why it is called the age of Grace having passed from the age of the Father whilst God was establishing the Law first through the covenant with Abraham and then the tablets with Moses and the people of Isreal. Then the age of the Son when Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophecy in putting sin to death on the cross, buried and Resurrected from the dead. Now this is the Grace period, for we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us (27). Witnesses and testimonies of the accounts of history and the inclination of men that began its new course right there in the Garden for there is nothing new under the sun (28). We are all creatures of habits inherited by our forefathers passed down from generation to generation.  Yet a new habit and covenant has been formed through our Lord Jesus Christ. The covenant in His blood that leads us to the Way the Truth and the Life (26). The Word of God leaves us many testimonies and examples for our exhortation, edification and reproof so that we may receive the Grace that was not granted to those of old, who did not have the witness and testimonies of the ways in which they ought not to have gone. Like the case of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, Cain, King Saul, Gazhezi, Judas and many more who went in the way of Perdition.

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.” (29)

Yes even our beloved Garden buddies, Adam and Eve a pair we all love to point the finger and blame for being the cause of humanities sufferings and downfall, especially us women with the childbirth murmurings... Oh if I could get my hands on that Eve!... 😁 Yet those poor innocent children; as they were before the Lord in the Garden, did not have a witness and testimony to warn them that the path that they would trek would lead to their own destruction and that of their seed, except the Promised One. Though they had warnings from the Father Himself it was not enough to perceive the crafty persuasions of the sneaky Serpent (30).

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (31)

Throwback of some carnal runways of my youth 🥸

Yes such a destruction that too soon they were confronted with when they had to bury their innocent child who died by the hands of their own child (32). An innocence that I too was denied in my childhood. Having been exposed to the whims of the flesh in my infancy even by none other than innocent children as I was, yet we were no more; having tasted the lust of the flesh and the carnality of men. I was born in Jamaica a country very exotic both in its nature and people. We are very famous as many other countries in the western hemisphere, for our carnal celebrations of the flesh both in culture, music, festivals such as carnival and raves .

How is it that an innocent child succumbs to an adulterated inclination? How is it that an innocent child can come to resort to carnal desires robbing the simple joys of childhood, purity and peace? I must admit that the experience though apparently fun at first, satisfying the cravings of the flesh seemed even nice and fulfilling. Yet the gaping hole it left in the soul was the harsh reality like Eve, I had to face. Reaping the consequences of this instant gratification of the heart in a depressive childhood leading to more carnal addictions into adulthood becoming immersed in the rabbit whole of the web and its on demand carnal gratifications that never satisfied but only robbed a future and hope that God had intended for me, as He Promised.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.(33)
