The Program...

The Program is TRUE and pronounces future OUTCOMES, decisions and CONSEQUENCES of our present actions and choices. So what to do if we are simulated into a program that projects the worse outcome or ERROR that we will INEVITABLY succumb to?

This happened in the case of Esau by his action, a simulation that was already determined from his birth (1) but manifested itself in a moment of time when he assumed the program of despising his own birthright for a bowl of lentils. A program that only PROJECTED and affirmed future outcomes of what was already DETERMINED for him, expressing what was already in the depths of his own heart. Which makes us to understand that the programs of life is a code already written in the depths of our subconscious, past what meets the physical eyes beyond our own UNDERSTANDING. It is a written script that begins its' play from birth (2). Shaped, moulded and reconstructed by our environments and upbringing. The outcome and end results of the program and simulation that is run, is simply a consequence of something that is already present within us, determining our final destination.

So what to do if the program in us is against us? Like the case of Esau who did indeed lose the firstborn rights as it was PROJECTED when he seamlessly exchanged it for what was then just a simple meal of lentils. Is there any HOPE to rewrite the coding of failure, suffering and LOSS? Maybe the program we have been simulated into is like that of the people of Susa in the time of Queen Ester and King Xerxes. The Jews among the people of Susa at a moment in time were simulated into a program of impending doom and death, a decree that was deceptively inspired by the enemy of the Jews, Haman (3).

Ester hustling up all her courage, risking her life to make an audience with the king, presenting herself before him which in the context of the time would have bore grieve consequences to her own life (4). Yet she presented herself before him, pleased him and found favour in the kings eyes. So that she pleaded the case of her people, by the mighty hands of the king to undo the PROGRAM of death that was in play to see the destruction of all the Jews in Susa. However, the script had already been written, the program was already in play and there was no way to stop the inevitable destruction that would be waged against the Jews of Susa, the people of God. The King was powerless, in all his might and glory he could not undo a decree of his own word that will be fulfilled, to end a program that already took flight to destroy God's people.

The king could not stop the inevitable simulation that was already in play BUT he gave Ester the necessary tools she needed to save her people, the DEFENCE to change the inevitable outcome themselves, to TURNAROUND the program that was set against them to destroy them. The king made a NEW decree, a new law that could trample the outcome of the FIRST decree of death.

'Now write another decree in the king’s name on behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king’s signet ring—for no document written in the king’s name and sealed with his ring can be revoked.” ' (5)

'The king’s edict granted the Jews in every city the right to assemble and protect themselves; to destroy, kill and annihilate the armed men of any nationality or province who might attack them and their women and children, and to plunder the property of their enemies. ' (6) This awesome decree for us today is non other than that of our FAITH and HOPE in Jesus Christ as our only Lord and Saviour. The redeemer of our souls against all the PROGRAMS and simulations that life has cast onto us for the worse. The programs and simulations of an impossible and irreversible health condition inherited or by chance; He has decreed "by His wounds we are healed" (7). The program and simulation of loneliness or an irreparable or broken family; God has given us the decree that He "brings the lonely into family" (8), "believe in the Lord and you will be saved, you and your house"(9).

When the flood of darkness of all the programs of life come crashing in to CONSUME us and destroy us with worries, fears, doubts and anxiety we must follow the example of Queen Ester and run to the feet of the King of kings, Jesus Christ, in PRAYER and make our request be known to Him (10).

Be anxious for nothing... (10)

...But in prayer and supplication make your request be known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts... (10)

This first enemy that ignited the PROGRAM of death since the beginning, was SIN. Sin is the written code, programmed deep inside us since the day of our simulation into this world, at birth. A coding written against us, a DETERMINED outcome of a world inevitably filled with some form of pain and suffering. For some more and others less but we all share in some form or way this curse of reaping both good and bad outcomes (11) sometimes beyond our control or even deserving and sometimes we may even bring it upon ourselves through the intrinsic coding of our innermost being.

So where and when did this program of death enter the gene pool of humanity? None other than our most beloved Garden of Eden. Our enemy, like Haman, the devil successfully signed off the decree of death after managing to persuade and deceive Adam and Eve to turn their backs on God, His will, His guidance and His protection. From then on mankind entered into a simulation of death and a seemingly irreversible journey down the rabbit hole to the bottomless pit (12). But Jesus by His sacrifice on the CROSS, who is today our Lord and Saviour, has wiped out all the programs and codes that has been written against us (13).

'If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ' (14)

In some cases the programs and simulations of life that has been set against us do fulfil their due course and truly become IRREVERSIBLE... that sickness that does not heal and leads to death; the broken family that is unable to be restored even after PRAYERS and supplication. Jesus too knew this frustration in another GARDEN, the garden of Gethsemane (15). With the pressure of the program He was assimilated into, prophesied (7) before His birth, determining the inevitable outcome and sacrifice He would have to endure at the CROSS. What to do then? What to expect when there seems to be NO way out? How to deal with a program of death simulated into our lives that even God Himself permits and allows to fulfil its due course?

I am your exceedingly great reward! (16)

"Even if the fig tree does not blossom and there be no fruit on the vine... I will rejoice in the God of my SALVATION!" (17)

This happened with Ruth. A moabites foreigner who experienced life's rejection in a simulation of death and loss as her husband died, the son of Naomi an Israelite, her mother in law. Having lost all, living out the inevitable program of loss and suffering they returned to the land of Isreal and Ruth declaring her FAITHFULNESS to the God of Isreal (18), having taking arms determined to not allow the PROGRAMS of life to get the better of her, she went to glean the land of Boaz a relative of Naomi, she pleased him in her affection to take care of poor Naomi and found favour in him so that he sought to REDEEM her and her mother in law, as was accustomed to those times. He sought to make this arrangement possible with one who was BEST fit and right to fulfil this duty but guess what he refused. But Boaz, as a type of our Lord Jesus, took it upon Himself to fulfil this honour of redeeming the family of Ruth and Naomi through marriage and Boaz was that New Beginning (20) a gracious relief to all that Ruth and Naomi had suffered in loss...

So sometimes the programs can fulfil its destructive purpose of bringing death and suffering; death of an illness irreversible only onto death, death of loosing someone we love or separation in marriage or family. God Himself even permits it as we remember the case of Job (19) and our Lord Jesus Himself. But remember that death is not the end, death is the start of NEW BEGINNINGS (20) for those who BELIEVE and holds onto their FAITH in God. If the Lord Jesus could not avoid what was destined and prophesied before His coming into the world, the sacrifice on the CROSS. He accepted it, believed and trusted that it was the will of God "not as I will, but let your will be done" (21). But that end in FAITH, trust and HOPE in the faithfulness of God became the start of the decree and NEW COVENANT bringing salvation unto all till the ends of the earth, in every nation, in every tongue. Which could only be possible passing through, fulfilling and OVERCOMING the program of death, by keeping FAITH in God.

So how to override the PROGRAM, the simulation of death? Have FAITH in God. Even if the program of death fulfils its purpose, Jesus has overcome death and the grave. And what is it to overcome death for us today? It is that no matter the hardship, the disappointments, failure or loss we still have PEACE, faith and HOPE in God, that "all things will work out for the good to those who love God" (22). That even if the program and simulation may succeed in taking away from us the things that are seen and are temporary(23); it can by no means take away from us that which is ETERNAL; our SOULS. Our souls can now find rest through Jesus Christ, no matter the storm it cannot defeat us.

'When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. ' (24)

Like Boaz, Jesus will endeavour to grant us all our petitions that we desire according to all our hearts desires and that which we are entitled to according to His good and perfect plans for us and His will. But if that which we are entitled to receive according to all His promises and faithfulness does not come to pass the way we wanted or expected... Do not forget that He will be our "exceedingly great reward" (16) . He has delivered us from the sentence of death of the programs of life and He is able(25) willing and IS changing the programs of suffering to LIFE and more abundantly, like it happened to the people of Susa. It is YES to His promises and Amen (26). But the GREATEST mission and program of LIFE He has conquered for us by His sacrifice on the CROSS is the eternal peace and SALVATION of our souls.
