The ANGELS come to SEPARATE what is wheat from the CHAFF. And what about YOU, will you be the wheat or the CHAFF in the END?
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all things that OFFEND and practice lawlessness."(1) We are all CHAFF'S, goats and dry bones at FIRST when we come to know God and are still maybe even the LOST coin in His house. What SEPARATES the wheat from the chaffs in the END are those who BELIEVE and those who don’t. Those who PERSEVERE and those who will GIVE UP on the notion of Gods faithfulness and His PROMISES in their lives.
'And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God , You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the WORD of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall LIVE. ' (2)
The Word of God, the testimonies and the GOOD news of Salvation are all the good SEEDS that God uses in order to give OPPORTUNITY to all by sowing these "good seeds" (3) in the world that is full of "dry bones"(2), representing people who do not yet know the LIGHT of the gospel, the PLAN of eternal life that God has prepared for those who SEEK Him and find Him, through His Son Jesus. He sows the WORK of missionaries, CHURCHES and evangelist who believe and like the prophet Ezekiel, announces this Knowledge of Him using the Word so that all who have an "ears to hear" (4) may have an opportunity to know Him, seek Him and Find Him through Jesus Christ who is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and no one comes to the Father except through HIM(5).
"Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?"(6) the TARES in this work of sowing the good seeds of SHARING the gospel are "FALSE" doctrines and interpretations that do not line up or MATCH up to what is WRITTEN according to the Word of God but altered and added onto in the form of RELIGION, to pass on as man made ideologies, precepts and traditions. This in turn produces chaffs, those who are led and deceived (7) in following man made misinterpretations or additionally IMPLEMENTED expectations and requirements that take away the ATTENTION and value of the message of the CROSS and the TRUE and only path that leads to LIFE. Another insurgence of chaffs amongst the wheat are bad examples, scandals that influence and DIVERT the attention of those seeking to hear the Word of God, that TEACHES the path that leads to life.
So what to do about the tares?
"Do you want us to gather them up? (The tares)"(8) Only TIME can set them apart. Time is the perfect test to know what is true from what is false. TIME that will fulfil the TRUTH and time that will DENOUNCE the lie. Time that will TEST the integrity, purpose and fulfilment of the truth from the lie. All this is only made EVIDENT with the PROCESS of time. “Let both grow together and at the TIME of the harvest I will say to the reapers…”(9) God gives us TIME to repent or TIME that will in itself WEARY those who will GIVE UP in the end revealing who or what are the true CHAFFS from the TRUE wheat. God will send His angels like that LAUNDERERS (10) soap and REFINERS fire to test, CONFRONT and open up the GRAVES for us all to have the OPPORTUNITY to come out of the grave of CHAFF and change to become WHEAT. It is this PRESSURE applied to both WHEAT and chaff that will in the end see to it the one who BELIEVES and PERSEVERES from the one who GIVES UP and exchange Gods FAITHFULNESS for the lentils of this world, like Esau (11).

"The righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father" (4)
So who are the WHEAT? Who are the RIGHTEOUS? The righteous ones are simply those who BELIEVE and OVERCOME (12). By faith Abraham believed and it was accounted to him for righteousness (13). Those who started out as chaffs but over the PROCESS of TIME were made wheat through the Word of God and His Spirit. If God promised "I will not rest I will not hold my peace till her righteousness shines forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns"(14). How much more will His arms not be outstretched waiting PATIENTLY, suffering long to work inside of each and every one of us CONVERSION and repentance so that we might be SAVED. Of course those who want, those who SEEK, "for many are called and few are chosen"(15). Jesus paved the way as He suffered long with both the shortcomings of both Judas and Peter... Why? Because "I did not come to condemn the world but to save it." (16) Of course all things will come to an END. We have death as an evidence to this fact. DEATH is the end of Gods mercy and long suffering, so we must make things RIGHT with Him before it is too late...
Seek the Lord whilst He can be found call upon Him whilst He is near (17)
Another example of this PROCESS of time are the people of Isreal in the desert, a nation full of wheat and chaffs and over the PROCESS of time the chaffs who were the older generation died in the desert. Whilst the wheat, the young generation who knew only of the PROMISES, and NEW way of living now implanted in their hearts because they were free from all the chains, lust and idols of Egypt. For us today that is the CONVERSION from the "old man"(18) represented by the old generation and the new NATURE formed in us represented by the new generation born in the desert as we start our JOURNEY with God. That is because whilst we remain in our errors and OFFENCES we remain as chaffs bound to repeat and cause harm to ourselves and others. With this nature of the "old man" our old ways, God is unable to give us all that He desires to bless us with, His promises. But once we bury it in the desert like that old generation that DIED and pass through the Jordan of BAPTISM, accepting Jesus as our ONLY Lord and Saviour and no longer our OWN ways and idols, then we will begin to become this "righteous who will shine forth"(4) inheriting all the Promises of God for our lives starting with the SALVATION of our SOULS. This is the ultimate PROMISED Land we must seek, ETERNAL LIFE.
'assuming that you have heard about Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. ' (19)
CONVERSION keeps us inherit to the Promised Land of ETERNAL LIFE and Salvation. This regeneration is through Jesus. Jesus and His blood the NEW COVENANT, symbolically represented in the partaking of the Lords Supper. After the conversion through BAPTISM in the waters, like the passing through the Jordan River, the Nile from slavery and the desert to a New Land a New Beginning in the land of all of Gods Promises and PLANS (20) He has reserved to those who love Him.
I know My plans for you... (20)
Joshua and Caleb were an example to us as the only ones from the older generation who BELIEVED in Gods Promises and did not doubt and remained ALIVE throughout the TIME in the desert. To them was reserved the inheritance because they BELIEVED and PERSEVERED. This is the secret and this is the real SEPARATION of the wheat from the chaff and TIME is the evidence and PROOF. So why did the CHAFFS die in the desert? How to make sure we are not chaffs? FAITH. Faith in Jesus and FAITH in His Promises. This is the secret to go until the end OVERCOMING all curses and tribulations. Even if no one believes in you God believes in you and He "will not leave you nor forsake you”(21). But of course this FAITH and PERSEVERANCE is conditional to a life with Him to abide in Him and the NEW Covenant He established through His Word. Without Him we can do nothing but with Him "we are more than conquerors!"(22)
This is the work of God that you BELIEVE in Him whom He sent. (23)
Essentially the older generation died because they did not BELIEVE, so they did not PREPARE, they let themselves probably loose, careless, not investing in the PREPARATIONS to take possession of Gods promises... so what happened NATURALLY their unbelief MANIFESTED what was inside by not INVESTING, so that they perished in the desert. How is it that Joshua and Caleb were invested and they were not? 'As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. ' (24) because like Gideon and the 300 their eyes were READY and their POSITION was set on the goal. I imagine Joshua and Caleb would be keeping fit, exercising, always READY and close to Moses learning from him following through with all the REQUIRMENTS necessary to see the fulfilment of the Promise. Moses for us today is the WORD of God. Are you close to Moses? Are you close to His Word?
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.””(25)
How to make sure we are not this old generation today that will get weary and perish? Why is it that God was so mean to refuse this old generation? "God is not mocked for whatever a man sows that he will reap" (26) God was not mean or unfair he refused them according to their own INTENTIONS of their heart. What was their disqualification? Their UNBELIEF. In their unbelief they reaped the fruits of their unbelief in that they stopped taking and making the necessary PREPARATIONS to take possession, unlike Joshua and Caleb. Their unbelief made them to become weary over the PROCESS of TIME to accept defeat. Their sentence to death was none other than their own unbelief. Their unbelief was their curse, not the sentence of God, it only reflected what was already in them. The law condemns but FAITH in Jesus gives LIFE for He has "delivered us from the sentence of death"(27) in Him "It is yes to His Promises, He is the Amen" (28) Do you believe?
So to make sure we will not miss out on the inheritance of God, that we are not the CHAFFS who will perish in the end from the PLAN of salvation and Gods PROMISES in our lives. We need to like Joshua and Caleb position ourselves to PERSEVERE and to BELIEVE until the end. Even if it seems we don't get the REWARD we were hoping for we can never forget that He is our EXCEEDINGLY (39) great reward. So, POSITION ourselves by investing like Mary at Jesus feet, POSITION ourselves in our actions, not DESPISING the good seeds of the work that God has planted through His Word, CHURCHES and institutions established to teach and EXHORT us according to His WORD, moulding in us a FAITH and character to go until the END. This POSITIONING is like the WISE virgins who had their lamps filled with OIL so that at the end when the time came for the bride groom to arrive, symbolic of the Promised land of SALVATION, they were well LIT to receive Him. The foolish are like the old generation in their unbelief, GAVE UP along the way, lost FAITH even though they knew the TRUTH of Jesus and so DESPISING what God made AVAILABLE to TEACH, exhort and PREPARE them, were left without OIL at the stroke of MIDNIGHT...
So the PROCESS of TIME that God allows for the SEPARATION is the call for REPENTANCE as we are confronted with the TESTS and chastisement of the angels, the reapers to PURIFY us through the LAUNDERERS soap (10) and REFINERS fire, if we submit and believe, trusting in God, PERSEVERING to cut out the chaff from WITHIN us we can through the PROCESS of TIME by choosing not to give up but to BELIEVE until the end become this "righteous that will shine forth as the sun"(4) just as God promised. That which is the true CHAFF will not be able to endure, or PERSEVERE the pressure of the TESTs of God, the REFINERS fire and the LAUNDERERS soap to purify us of all our errors and OFFENCES. But we must also keep in mind the case of MOSES, he too was amongst the older generation that did NOT enter the Promised land. Why? In Moses case we see that the discipline of God also tests our PERSEVERANCE in being faithful to God above the BLESSINGS of the Promised Land. This is the ultimate PERSEVERANCE we must all attain to.
Sometimes we will not get that which God initially Promised like the Promised land for Moses or like Adam and Eve in the garden. Sometimes the discipline of God to test us is to hear the NO of God or to face the consequences of SIN, or simply to give us a greater inheritance than what we may have lost. "The PERSEVERANCE of Job"(31) is a classic example of when things don't quite turn out the way we DESIRED. And who are the CHAFF and the WHEAT in the case of Gods DISCIPLINE or refusal? Those who remain FAITHFUL to God regardless of the PROMISED land, regardless of being kicked out of the GARDEN... Because like the Lord Jesus, the "last Adam" (40)and New Beginnings of those who BELIEVE, the Ultimate Promised Land of ETERNAL LIFE is far greater than all the LOSSES and rejections and UNFULFILLED dreams of this Life.
'For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.' (30)
So when we are able to recognise and ACKNOWLEDGE our own OFFENCES and errors we are then able to endure the FIRE because it will PERFECT us so that we can push forward, to fit in through the "narrow gate"(31). Because the will of God is for us to be SAVED but if we resist Gods rebuke and correction by the afflictions and CONFRONTATIONS to open our GRAVES and show us what is inside of us that needs to come out, then we RESIST our own salvation. These PRESSURES are the ANGELS who come in the end to SEPARATE the chaff from the wheat. The ANGELS come to test, rebuke, DISCIPLINE like Jacob wrestling with God, through PROBLEMS and confrontations that become a mirror of what is inside us to be removed when MANIFESTED through our REACTIONS. Those who endure the chastisement, rigour and discipline of the ANGELS are the wheat who are broken and will become preserved for the barn, IF they PERSEVERE. Perfected for every good work... but not PERFECT...
The CHAFFS are the ones who after the chastisement, discipline rebuke of the angels GIVES UP and waste their salvation to perdition. They do not ENDURE the discipline and chastisement (32) of God. In the end they will be gathered together into the furnace essentially because they GAVE UP and did not want to submit and PERSEVERE the correction of God, the testing of God in grafting them into the barn as the sons of RIGHTEOUSNESS, just like Job who persevered and OVERCAME. Our RIGHTEOUSNESS is not in our perfect conduct but our righteousness is to PERSEVERE and BELIEVE in Him whom He sent, this is the work of God to BELIEVE in Him (23). Whether wheat or chaff the TRUE separation comes down to this whether we BELIEVE and PERSEVERE or we GIVE UP in the end.
“Abraham BELIEVED God, and God counted him as RIGHTEOUS because of his faith.” (13)
That’s why there will be a great APOSTASY (33) separating those who PERSEVERE the REFINERS (10) fire of God, those who submit, grateful, refined and REMAIN in the "barn" the presence of God, from those who resist and GIVE UP unto perdition, like Judas and King Saul. For the Lord will do a work in DIFFICULT times to end transgressions (34). Those who ENDURE will overcome and be PERFECTED, those who resist and GIVE UP with a low balance faith, essentially because they became weary and did not want to PERSEVERE anymore the refiners fire, drifting away, DISTRACTED by the cares of this life… will fall into that apostasy of the gathering together of the CHAFFS who are essentially just those who GAVE UP and did not believe, SEPARATED from the faithful who PERSEVERED and OVERCAME to see all the PROMISES of God fulfilled in their lives, according to His will.
The Righteous shall shine forth as brightness (4)
The righteous are those who OVERCOME, who were pressed and tested but overcame themselves through humility, PERSEVERANCE and self reflection upon the graves that were opened and came out from the grave (35) making a U turn in the path that God reveals to them. Persevering through injustices, OFFENCES, guilt and tribulations not allowing it to SEPARATE them from the LOVE of God.
What can separate us from the love of God? Can tribulation, distress, famine but through Him we are more than conquerors" (36)
Never Give Up. Trust. Wait Patiently. Believe.
Judas was a chaff because he GAVE UP. King Saul was a chaff because he GAVE UP. Peter was a wheat in the end because he did not give up but TRUSTED in the righteousness of God, to forgive him and RECONCILE him after he betrayed Jesus by denying Him in public 3 times at His own death sentence... some friend he was right? The cheek...Yet he TRUSTED in the LOVE of Christ and made a U turn back to his brethren (unlike Judas)... persevering in the FAITH becoming one more son who overcame shining "forth in the kingdom of His Father"(4). Like Job who lost everything in his MOMENT of life's pressures but held onto the FAITHFULNESS and goodness of God and never GAVE UP... "curse God and die!" (37). They all sinned, had some chaffs in them, some dead mens bones... The ones who committed the greatest OFFENCES seemed to be the ones who PERSEVERED and BELIEVED the most, showing Gods GREAT mercies and love. Peters OFFENCE was in some way greater than Judas after he betrayed Jesus 3x openly, at least Judas was discrete... Jacob's OFFENCE of lying to his father was greater than Esau of exchanging for lentils. King Davids OFFENCE was far greater than King Saul as David even committed murder after adultery... All these were CHAFFS exemplifying the nature and love of God that PERSEVERES with us until the end... rebuking and exhorting us so that perhaps we might be SAVED so that "he who has an ear let him hear!"(4). Until the FINAL separation. Death. DEATH is This Great Harvest. And what is this SEPARATION for? What do we need to be SAVED from?...
“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to Hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to LIFE is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.'(38)
